Hi Reader, I'll soon be on my way to Ohio to visit my parents for the holiday season. I've almost put all the finishing touches on our book - launching in early 2026. I'll share a sneak peek coming up. But for now, are you interested in getting a free advanced reader copy and being part of my "street team" as I launch it? If you think you might be interested (no pressure if you change your mind!), go ahead and click this blue button so I'll know you're possibly interested:
(Note: the button just takes you to my website.) So, here's something to think about... Last Saturday, I asked ChatGPT this question: What is the single best thing someone can do in their life to make the world a better place? Can you guess what it said?
It said to be kind to others. Here's what it actually told me: "Grow in the ability to treat people with consistent, courageous kindness even when it’s hard." I don't think I've ever thought of the idea of "courageous kindness," but it seems related to being intentional about being kind. So, this is about intentional kindness. It gave 6 reasons why being kind is so important, including that kindness spreads, inspiring others to be kind, too. It also said that being kind helps us, too. It reduces stress and helps us with our own well-being. So, kindness helps others and us, too. Sounds great to me!
And then it concluded: So, here's something to think about: During this possibly stressful holiday season, how will you intentionally be kind to others (and yourself)? Thanks for being part of my reader community. John Christopher Frame p.s. do you agree with what ChatGPT told me? Hi Reader, Do you find it difficult to remember God's presence and love for you during tough times, or when you're upset? Here's a brief devotion that may help, from the new book I wrote with my parents, From Sea to Shining Sea: 50 Daily Devotions from Traveling to Every State in America. Each devotion in the book relates to a state in the United States. The one below is about Kentucky... It includes a prayer point at the end: for the release of any negative feelings that may have a hold on...
